Time Off to Volunteer

Our employees worldwide have a wealth of skills to share and a passion to give back to their communities. We encourage and support volunteer efforts through the Time Off to Volunteer (TOV) program which provides all full-time employees with 16 hours of paid time off annually. In 2022, we’re proud to report that more than 12,000 volunteer hours were logged.

Celestica’s Oradea, Romania regularly holds internal campaigns to raise school supplies for local children. During one campaign, they were able to donate 100 backpacks full of school supplies to numerous non-profit organizations in Bihor County for the children.

Thailand employees have supported coral reef conservation projects— participating in coral transplantation, volunteering in beach clean-ups, and donating materials to the Marine Science and Conservation Camp of Samae San.

Coordinating to Support Community Needs

Around the world, Celestica employees coordinate book, toy and clothing drives to give back and reduce overall waste within their communities. All told, more than 300 kg of goods including winter clothing, books, food, toys and more were collected and distributed to orphanages, shelters for the homeless and abused women and refugees.
