Celestica is in the process of transforming its Indirect Procurement process. The project is broken down into three phases: Phase one is Sourcing and Contracting, phase two is Supplier Management, and phase three is Procure to Order.
In March 2024, Celestica went live with phase one functionality while deploying the new platform, Ivalua, to manage indirect procurement upstream processes. This included requests for quotes and proposals and contract collaboration. The Ivalua platform facilitates connections between Celestica and its suppliers, streamlining sourcing and contracting across various categories.
All suppliers will need to create an Ivalua account upon invitation from a Celestica team member. There is no cost associated with this for any of Celestica’s suppliers using the system.
Phase two is now live, enabling supplier management which will enhance collaboration and create a more transparent and integrated supply chain. This phase focuses on supplier onboarding, records management, and performance review through the user-friendly portal.
