Ivalua Overview

Celestica is in the process of transforming its Indirect Procurement process.The project is broken down into three phases: Phase one is sourcing and contracting, phase two is supplier risk and performance (SRPM), and phase three is procure to order. 

In March 2024, Celestica began phase one, using Ivalua to manage indirect procurement processes.  This included requests for quotes and proposals, contract collaboration and supplier profile management. The Ivalua platform facilitates connections between Celestica and its suppliers, streamlining sourcing and contracting across various categories.

All suppliers will need to create an Ivalua account upon invitation from a Celestica team member. There is no cost associated with this. 

The Next Generation Functionality Being Enabled in Ivalua

We are now in phase two, focused on supplier management  which will enhance collaboration and create a more transparent and integrated supply chain. This phase focuses on supplier onboarding, records management, and performance review through the user-friendly portal. Once phase two is deployed, you can expect the following:

  • Enhanced Communication: The platform allows real-time communication and collaboration between Celestica and its suppliers. 
  • Standardized processes: Ivalua provides standardized templates and workflows.
  • Consolidated platform: All supplier-related activities are managed in the Ivalua platform.

This new functionality will be available as of January 13, 2025.

Expected Outcomes

The benefits of using Ivalua:

  • Eligible to be awarded business based on responses provided to bids launched and responded to in Ivalua
  • Transparency of all the steps in the procurement process and a real-time status of where each step is
  • Better management of purchase orders, data and sensitive information
  • Collaborative tool, efficient and optimized completion of process steps as well as response time between parties
  • History of steps, events, documents, exchanges with Celestica all in one location

Login Process

A Supplier must be invited by a Celestica Indirect Procurement team member to access Ivalua and a link will be provided at that time.  

The mandatory fields to fill in are: 

  • Supplier English Name 
  • Supplier Address
  • Supplier (Group or Head Office) 
    • The Supplier will receive an email notification to advise of the login and user name with a temporary password.
    • The General Terms of use must be completed.
